This is a slim external USB 2.0 Dual Layer Superdrive for Mac Laptops. This drive connects via a USB cable to your Mac laptop to burn CDs & DVDs. The drive reads DVDs (8x) and CDS, burns CDs (24x), and burns DVDs (8x, includes dual layer). This drive will work on any Mac desktop with a USB port. Laptops may require two USB ports to operate. No drivers necessary, works out of the box with iTunes and Disc Burner. The best part of this drive is the size and portability. This is a slim drive which weighs in at under 1 lb and has a height under 1"! The dimensions are 0.98" x 5.39" x 6.20".
